dupree dance!

WOW! What a great competition/ convention weekend. This was the first time I was dance teacher and dance mom! (just a Little frazzle for mommy!) G did her solo on Friday! she did great! she got a gold and was only 5 points away from a platinum.. not to shabby for a 4 year old (scoring went diamond, platinum, gold and sliver)
Gracen took all the level one classes on sat and sun! tap was a hour long and a little to advanced for her but she loved her hip hop class and her jazz classes, something she hasn't done before!
after rough year of teaching my daughter, it was cool to watcher her interact with other teachers. when the teacher is giving the instructions, G has the tendency to look at the other dancers (i thought she was just being a space coddle) but then when they do it with music she gets it! I was so proud...she was picking up on choreography  really well! the class was for 4-7 year olds and she was the youngest and the owner of the competition even commented that she had a remarkable attention span for a 4 year old!  i was proud, so was dad and so was she..she had a ton of fun!!
