We had a great start to the new year!! As we headed back to the D we made a few stops! The First was in Chicago to meet baby Liam!! We are so happy for Haley and Matt!! Liam is super cute and G loved getting the oprotutie to hold her first baby! Haley is a sweet and as beautiful as ever!!! Matt was proud of B's red wings gear!!!
As we drove we where SHOCKED!!! no snow in Mich! none!! Again one of the POSITIVE things about this state! Our next detoure took us to Grand rapids Michigan. A town so nice, that you forget your in Mi (there is another positive thing Aly!! :) We spent New years with our Friends Hannah and Dave and their little girl (church) lily. They have been in GR 6 months now and we have enjoyed visiting them before, this time was the first time in their gorgeous new house!!

It was (windy) but warm on New years day. So right before we left we all took a little walk!!
